The water contains Calcium & Magnesium i.e. Hardness which forms the scaling and affects heat transfer surface in the case of Boiler or Cooling systems. To prevent scaling the simplest way is to convert hardness i.e Calcium & Magnesium in to sodium Ions. This can be achieved by Softener unit. Strong Acidic Cation Resin in the Sodium from is used to exchange the Sodium Icons in place of hardness forming salts of calcium and Magnesium. As the hardness slippage level reaches, the unit is regenerated i.e reactivated with the help of sodium chloride solution. Thus again the resin is ready for exchanging the Sodium Ions in place of hardness i.e. Calcium & Magnesium Icons.
WTPSS offer industrial up-flow counter current regeneration unit to produce low residual hardness throughout the service cycle for medium industries.
The softener unit is small in size and easy to assemble and install. The unit design is such that unit dose not require any specific foundation. It can be installed on raised platform so that it dose not directly come in contact with water to avoid the bottom corrosion and also given under bed material to avoid the carryover of dirt from brine solution.
